I usually go the the Franklin Parker Preserve (since 2014) to pick blueberries each July, but this year I found out there won't be any blueberries there this year. I don't know the cause. It was possibly the very wet year we have had so far but other blueberry farms in NJ seem to be fine. Maybe it is the blueberry species. This happened in 2017 also. It is disappointing since all the blueberries you can pick and carry out are free.
I decided to go to a farm in Hammonton, NJ called Blueberry Bills. It was a bit expensive, but the berries were nice size and the farm was well kept. I picked 12.5 lbs of blueberries for $25.
